    Default 2009 Impreza Oil Change

Hello! Just bought a brand new 2009 Impreza about a month ago. It's due for its first oil change and I usually change my own oil. Where can I get the crush washer for the drain plug? Also, is Mobil 1 or Valvoline an issue?

I picked up some Mobil 1 5W-30. I also got a filter and crush washer at the local dealer for less than $7.

i use the stock washer u dont have to tighten them to the extent that u pull threads out to get it to seal or u can go and get a rubber o ring like gm uses and they last for years but that is beacuse im cheep as hell and dont want to use the .70 cents for a new one but by all means change it every time if u want but wat do i know im only a gm tech

I'll just change the washer every time I change the oil just to be safe. I'm used to it on my other car anyway. But the washers for it are copper.
