    Default turbo timers?

    would it be a wise decsion to invest my money in an apexi turbo timer for my 04 wrx?

    ive got a apexi in my 1 ton dually with the powerstroke diesel but hardly ever use it. Ive been told that modern turbos dont need a lot of time to cool before shut down. I suggest a pyro (egt gauge) and just dont shut if off when the exhaust is super hot. Usually only takes a minute to cool to a decent temp

    i always run one in all of my turbo cars they are easy to install and not crazy expensive either. less wear & tear on the turbo seals especially if you have turboback, header & up-pipe.
