Looking at cars, and ive ran into afew options, looking at subaru outback's
2000 subaru outback legacys
afew of my friends have the above car, and they love it, i have test driven some and there very comfy. good gas mileage they say reliability is off the chart. they all reconmend it, 2.5 engine n all
however i also am looking at foresters, same engine etc. i read reviews for 2000 21mpg city 27 highway
im not sure what i want to get, i see them ranging in 4-6k here really good condition, 100k mile mark on them 100-130k for 4-5k which my friends say these car last forever as long as you take care of them.
which vehicle would get better milage?
both are awd.
which would you enjoy more? casual driving.
cons and pros to these vehicles if anyone owns one
which one should i get? lol
I reallllly need a new vehicle, looking to buy in afew weeks before i mean,
what should i get? auto or manual, how do i know if a vehicle has a good tranny, engine etc.? what should i look out for. etc. im in alaska.
is this a good car what are some problems i may run into etc..?

as a general rule of thumb always get the least amount of mileage possible. Also once a car hits that 100K mile point its pretty much downhill from there. It did some checking on automedia.com for you and found a good number of used Subys between 5 and 10k all with less than 100k miles. I tried finding the craigs list cars but the creators had deleted them. I would honestly avoid craigs list it tends to draw lower quality items than automedia or ebay.
