    Default Check Engine Light Help?

Hello. I have a 92 Legacy with crazy mileage, but I love her. The Check Engine Light is flashing in a very specific pattern; 3 slow, 5 fast blinks. In doing my own online research, I'm gathering that its most likely an emissions issue, but that it could be anywhere from my gas cap is loose to total catastrophic engine failure...or anywhere in between. Anyone out there in Subi-Land know what I may be facing? Thanks.

    Default Code 35

The flashing light is indicating a fault code 35, CPC solenoid. You will probably find the solenoid defective if you test it, possibly just a loose hose. Solenoid valve is under the intake manifold on the right(pass) side.
