    Default 04 Legacy 2 problems

2004 Subaru Legacy 35th anniversary automatic.

    1. Blower motor for heat/AC only works on high (#4) setting.
    What's broke?

    2. Only passenger side door speaker working. For a short time it only happened once in a while. Now it is 1 speaker only full time. I do have the optional tweets and they are also conspicuously silent.

The speaker problem started about 6 months ago. The blower problem only a week.

I am having the same problem, with a 05 Baja. Of which I posted yesterday. I have replaced the radio that's not it. I pulled the door panels nothing obvious there. I'm not experiencing any other issue but it sounds like I may be headed in that direction. I think there has to be another electronic device in there that is going out. What and where is the question.

I'm considering just running new speaker wires directly to the speakers, but what a pain.

Please let me know if you figure it out, and I'll do the same.

I took last night and hooked up a old stereo speaker to a speaker that wasn't working and the stereo speaker worked. So looks like something internal to the speakers that go bad but for some reason they will still work some times, and sound fine, I hear no rattling, poping or anything, wierd. Try it out and see if that works for you.
