Default Continuous power to cigarette lighter?

I have a 2010 Legacy 2.5i. One thing I DON'T like about it is that the cigarette lighters/12V power points lose power when the key is shut off/removed. In my previous vehicle (GMC Yukon) I could leave my cell phone or whatever plugged in to charge while I was away.
Is there a trick or hack to allow the sockets to retail their power with the key off?

run a conduit lined wire with an inline fuse to the underhood junction block/fuse block.

Yeah. I was hoping it would be simpler than that. Perhaps a relay I could bypass. Oh well.
    Thanks.
