    Default BOV'S (illegal or legal)???

    Does anyone know if blow-off valves are illegal because i really want to know b4 i end up putting one on and getting in trouble for it. i was told that your car gets taken off the road if the police pull you over. i know a few ppl with them on wrx's but they are not sure about the laws. Someone shed some light on this plz!

    Depending on where you live, and if there is strict emissions control regs. Most cars in those areas cannot be modified in anything that affects the ECU as determined by the sniffer in the tailpipe.
