what's up.engine light blinking while driving and turbo red hot.car losing power.need help thanks.its a 2005 wrx.

could be the catalytic converter has been clogged or failed?

That's odd. Does the engine light come on once you put the car in drive? Have you gotten a code on it?

So the intake valves were stock open on the #4 cylinder due to oil starved engine...thank you wife...so a good used one will be installed. Also did have a code but for a solenoid that failed.
