View Full Version : Rear headrests in 1996 Legacy Brighton

Hi all,

I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I own a 96 USA manufactured Legacy Brighton with almost 162,000 miles on it. Original trainy and only 1 real repair over the 15 years my family has owned it. We've been very lucky.

The back hatch is broken and neither of the front door keys work properly so we don't lock the door or obviously open the back hatch of the wagon. The engine, however, seems to be working well (knocks on wood).

We are hitting a crossroads come Spring of 2012. My 9 year old will most likely be too tall to safely sit in the backseat because the car came without rear headrests. Her head will be higher than the highest point of the backseat. I'm trying to determine whether to move on from the car and replace it or somehow get rear headrests.

Does anybody know how I can get rear headrests or if it is even possible to install? Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
