I took a right turn a little too sharp and scraped the bumper. There is a slight dent and some minor scratches and parts where the paint chipped off. I have a few pictures of the damage and I was wondering if you think this is a fix it yourself kind of job or if I should just pay a mechanic.

All of the pictures are of the same area, just at different angles. If you want more pics for clarification I could try my best to get them. I'm really just curious of how much you think this would cost at a shop rough estimate vs. just doing it myself.

You can't really fix this yourself unless you know body work.

My friend does body work and I asked him......he said most likely they will replace the bumper and re-paint.......!

Hard to tell if that's in the metal part or the plastic part. Even the plastic parts are painted with a special "plasticizer" in the paint to allow it to flex without crackling the paint, so very difficult for a DIY project. You may be able to pop the dent out by hand from behind but may have to live with some scrapes.
